"Calm" - My award-winning piece from Big Lake in Central Oregon

Landscapes have been my obsession and comfort for over a decade.  I love the quiet, the immersion, the light-stalking, the patience and the fulfillment of creating these postcards from the places I visit.

The photo to the right, a 140-second exposure at the foot of Big Lake in Central Oregon, unknowingly started my journey as a portrait & wedding photographer.  It won the Aperture Nature Photography award, leading me to my mentor, Scott.  He introduced me to weddings, encouraging me to combine my love of nature with people who love it, integrating fine-art portrait and landscape techniques.

I host landscape photography tours, small group photography outings, and one-on-one photo adventures.  If you are interested in joining me to take photographs in beautiful places, want to learn more about how to use a polarizer or heavy-duty neutral density filter, or need a boost on technique, contact me here.

I offer paper, canvas, and metal prints of my landscape work.  If you're interested, contact me above and we'll come up with the perfect piece for you.
