I met Christine years ago--she modeled for me in my early days as a portrait photographer. We shared a wild adventure in the Gorge with pouring rain and wild wind one day. I love those photos, and I adore Christine.

She called me this year to tell me she'd gotten engaged to her boyfriend, Steve. He asked her to marry him at a trailhead in the Gorge after he'd been pulled out of a sticky wilderness situation. He'd had a lot of time to think about life and the future, he said. And she was the one for him. (insert dancing Ara here)

Spending a beautiful windy evening with them at Columbia Hills State Park in Washington was beyond fantastic--the views were unbelievable, their dogs were a blast, and I love how they are together. I am so happy with this session, and I can't wait for their wedding in August!
