Erica and Nick are amazing. I met Erica years ago, at a workshop of all things, where I was learning and she was modeling. Erica is stunning, inside and out. She has a joy that absolutely pours through her eyes, and she’s very dear to me. When she asked me to photograph her wedding about five years later, I couldn’t say “yes” fast enough. Little did I know the wonderful, crazy adventure I’d get to share in.

I arrived in California on a warm September day, and was immediately swept into two families, love and laughter. The wedding was gorgeous, loud, crazy, hilarious, tear-jerking and so warm that I left with a fire burning in my chest from all the joy. I didn’t want the to evening end. I left euphoric, exhausted, yet completely unable to sleep as I re-lived the day over and over.

So, enjoy. Take in the beauty, the ridiculously-awesome garter toss, the fantastic dancing, the beautiful and darling and sassy bridal party, the flower girl passed out at the end of the night--two feet off the dance floor. And the LIGHT, oh, the LIGHT!
