I met Sarah at a bridal show, the October before her wedding. I had stepped away from my photos to photograph the fashion show, and when I got back, one of my friends grabbed my hand and told me we had to go find “the girl with the yellow coat.”

“She wants to meet you! She saw your photo of the woman at the waterfall, and she said she has to meet you!”

We found her. I photographed her wedding in August. I absolutely adore this girl, and her awesome husband, Brendan. We knew we’d have to find her a waterfall or a beach or something glorious for post-wedding outdoor portraits.

When I asked Sarah to bring her wedding dress to Cape Perpetua, she grinned and said, “YES!”. She and Brendan got dressed up again, kicked off their shoes, and this is what happened:
