Adventure Report: White River Falls

I'm such a waterfall junkie that I'm embarrassed to admit that, until roughly a month ago, I had never been to White River Falls before.  It's huge, a mind-blowing first drop leading to a lower bowl (above), and then another beautiful lower falls just downstream.  We visited on Valentine's Day, in our adventuring traditions of finding new and wonderful places together.  I can't recommend this place enough, and if I attempt to drag you here, don't be surprised--I am IN LOVE.

There's something utterly electric about standing at the bottom of places like these.  The thunder and roar of the water, seeing individual drops in a great storm of water, and the feel of the blasting spray on your face--these are some of the moments I love best.
