Mt. Hood in early June is a bit of a unicorn--you never know if she'll show her face, but if she does, it's dazzling. On the evening of Laura and Andy's tiny wedding at Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast, I drove out through Parkdale and grinned madly at the glowing peak as the clouds swirled away. I love it when she comes to the party, like the most unpredictable, yet welcome, guest.

After a short and beautiful ceremony, Laura's veil flowing in the breeze, we walked around the property, stopping to visit the horses, the barn, the flowers. Their best friends and closest family surrounded them for dinner by the pond, laughing and chatting and sipping champagne. The cake was decked in raspberries. As the evening wind grew chilly, everyone wrapped up in blankets and coats, still enjoying every moment as the sun dipped down.
