Kennedy & Tim - Wind & Waterfalls

One redheaded fox, one golden-haired stag, one rose-gold gown, one emerald suit, one windswept veil, and romance to fill a cup until it flowed over. Such was the week of Kennedy and Tim’s wedding in the Columbia River Gorge.

After a big, beautiful wedding shindig at Skamania Lodge. we journeyed back out to the Gorge several days later to go waterfall chasing. I was wrapped in merry wind and a real-life fairy story as I stood on rocks, in water, and on golden grass.

Happily Ever After: Sibel & Manuel's Wahclella Falls Wedding

Sibel's words echo through my mind whenever I look at these photographs. I remember the laughter, the light beams, the thundering water, and the way Sibel and Manuel looked at each other. I can see her dad's tears. Magical mornings like these are to remember forever.

Happily Ever After: Stephanie & Joe's Tiny Wedding in the Columbia River Gorge

The wind and sun and waterfall mist turned the Columbia River Gorge into paradise on Stephanie & Joe's wedding day. They flew to the Pacific Northwest from Louisiana, family and friends joining them on a rocky cliff overlooking the river for a warm, windblown ceremony. I loved how Stephanie's hair, and her son's golden locks, flowed in the wind as they stood above the river.
