On a beautiful, overcast autumn afternoon, I met Bethany and Jon downtown for their wedding at The Treasury Ballroom. I had photographed them before--Jon was a groomsman a few years ago for another couple I love dearly. From the moment I met Beth, I was completely delighted by her--her smile andhappy, happy energy bubbled all day long on the wedding day.

Instead of flowers, Beth chose bouquets made of book pages. GAH. I'm OBSESSED with them! There were also matching boutonnieres for the boys. They served paella from Crown Paella, one of my favorite caterers in Portland, who always put on a fantastic show with the preparation of dinner.

Congratulations to Beth & Jon for the perfectly intimate, meaningful, memorable day, and a lifetime of love ahead.
