In the middle of September, Udaya and I went down to Santa Cruz for a beautiful wedding up in the hills. We got up in the morning, found some breakfast, and drove out to Coastal Dairies State Park along Highway 1. Oh, such magic. We enjoyed the crashing waves, sand, caves and wind-blasted cliffs almost by ourselves, rambling around the beach with bare feet and free hearts.

I spent two wonderful, happy and amazingly-calm hours with them. The clouds were gloriously reflected on the beach, a gentle breeze wafted through the air, and everything was absolutely perfect.
